Creamy oats on a cozy, slow morning is the best way to start the day. Finish these oats with lots of smooth peanut butter, caramelized bananas, cacao nibs and sesame seeds!

Recipe

  • 1/ 2 cup gluten free oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax seeds
  • 1/ 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop protein of choice
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 banana, split lengthwise
  • Peanut butter, for topping
  • Sesame seeds, for topping
  • Cacao nibs, for topping

Method

  • Step 1

    Combine oats, chia seeds, protein powder, milk, cinnamon and salt in one pot. Bring to an almost boil and immediately turn down to simmer, stir frequently until thick and creamy.

  • Step 2

    Finish oatmeal with caramelized banana, peanut butter, cacao nibs, sesame seeds and extra cinnamon. Enjoy
