This simple and quick vegan eggnog french toast is easily scalable from brunch for one to feed a crowd. And with only two ingredients, it's one less thing to fuss about during the busy holiday season.

ingredients

  • Any bread, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (per slice of bread) vegan eggnog
  • Maple syrup, to top
  • Powdered sugar, to top
  • Pecans, to top
  • Nutmeg, fresh ground, to top
  • Coconut whip, to top

Method

  • Step 1

    Pour eggnog into a shallow bowl or saucer and dip both sides of bread, until coated fully

  • Step 2

    Heat a lightly oiled or non-stick frying pan and cook the soaked bread slice for 2-3 minutes per side over medium-high heat.

  • Step 3

    Top with powdered sugar, syrup, nutmeg, pecans, and coconut whip. Enjoy!
