- 1 whole vanilla bean pod
- 1 cup sugar
Method
Step 1
Place vanilla bean pods (not vanilla bean seeds or caviar) into an empty jar and add 1 cup of granulated sugar. This recipe is intended for spent vanilla bean pods, that you have already used all the seeds in another recipe!
Step 2
Seal tightly and set aside for 4 weeks.
Step 3
After 4 weeks, use your vanilla sugar in a variety of recipes!
