  • 340 grams Kova/Mawa/Khoya, grated
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Masala Chai Blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk


  • Step 1

    In a heavy bottomed pan add the kova, sugar, masala chai blend, cardamom and mix well

  • Step 2

    Add the milk and keep stirring, the mixture can easily stick to the bottom and burn so keep moving it

  • Step 3

    The sugar starts to melt and mixture comes together

  • Step 4

    Keep stirring till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan

  • Step 5

    Immediately transfer onto a parchment paper

  • Step 6

    Let it cool slightly (warm to touch)

  • Step 7

    Knead for 2-3 mins

  • Step 8

    Make small balls, flatten it and using a peda mold or a cookie stamp, slightly press it

  • Step 9

    Leave it for 45 mins, it should have hardened a little ⁣
