"I grew up with these steamed #dumplings with vegetable fillings. We called it "chai bao" where I grew up ( similar to chai kwe in Singapore). Fillings are made of shredded #jicama, carrots, greenbeans, mom would add some #shrimp and ground meat in there too. Traditionally the clear wrap is made of sweet potatoes but it's too difficult for me to work with the dough and so I used the same dough for shrimp dumplings and pork chives dumplings I made a while ago instead. Very happy with the result. So..so...good. Love them ❤ and I wrapped them four different styles. I will share recipe soon. Have a great weekend everyone
