ingredients

  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 50 g quinoa flakes
  • 50 buckwheat flakes
  • 70 g peanuts
  • 30 g almonds
  • 50 g flax seeds
  • 25 g chia seeds
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 75 g applesauce or compote (no added sugar)
  • 100 g dark chocolate

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Put all the different kinds of flakes, seeds and nuts in a large bowl. Mix together.

  • Step 2

    Add the applesauce and mix well so all elements can incorporate

  • Step 3

    Place the granola on a baking sheet in an oven tray.

  • Step 4

    Bake for 45 minutes. Open the oven and mix your future granola every 15 minutes.

  • Step 5

    After 45 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and spread the granola well over the entire baking sheet.

  • Step 6

    Put the chocolate on the granola. Let the chocolate melt on the granola. (Consider to put it in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes after removing from the oven to cool faster).

  • Step 7

    You can store up to 2 weeks in a tightly closed jar.
