- 3 cups flour
- 1/ 4 cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/ 4 cup maple syrup
- 1/ 2 cup applesauce
- 1 cup plant-based milk
Preheat and grease your waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray or butter.
In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
Separately mix together the remaining wet ingredients and pour into the flour mixture.
Whisk until combined. Spoon the batter onto the waffle iron.
Cook according to the waffle maker instructions, then remove from heat and serve warm. Enjoy!
