Breakfast
A power-food breakfast by @vanillyn and including the British best -- Scottish Oatmeal. Soooo good!
RECIPE:
For the oatmeal, I simply add 1/4 cup organic Scottish oats to 3/4 cup water and a tiny pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil, then simmer for about 5 to 8 mins stirring regularly until gooey. Then add a splash of milk when it's done to loosen up and make it more luscious. Pour into bowl.
Toppings:
- Matcha pumpkin seed butter was store-bought. Any nut/seed butter is fine actually.
- Lots of raspberries & blueberries.
- Sprinkle of hemp seeds- Drizzle of flax seed oil for a boost of omega 3 and to add silkiness to the texture
- Japanese sugar used was "Kakou Kirozatou". A very pleasant unprocessed sugar that taste almost like vanilla soft brown sugar. You get the idea.
