ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons cane sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons apple sauce
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 raisin
  • pinch of salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix all the ingredients, be careful not to overwork the batter.

  • Step 2

    Pop it to the fridge for 30 minutes to rest.

  • Step 3

    Heat your waffle maker and bake them for 5-7 minutes, until no more steam comes out.

  • Step 4

    Drizzle with maple syrup or icing sugar.
