Raw Chocolate Orange Oat Bars

  • 2 1/2 cups gluten free oats
  • 1/4 cup brown linseed
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • zest of an orange
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup

For the chocolate top


  • 7 ounces dairy free dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/8 cup agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup oat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar


  • Step 1

    Put 2 cups of oat into a blender and blend until you make a fine powder.

  • Step 2

    Mix all the ingredients together. Make sure the coconut oil is melted. Press the mixture down in a prepared baking tray. Rest it for 15 minutes before popping into the fridge.

  • Step 3

    Melt your chocolate over steam. Add the orange juice, tahini and agave syrup. Stir until it’s smooth then add the vinegar. Scoop over the base and pop back to the fridge for a few hours (or into the freezer for 30 minutes)
