ingredients
- 4 peeled and deseeded pears
- 1 cup earl grey tea
- 1/2 bottle rose wine
- 3 tablespoons agave syrupe
- 2 vanilla pod
Method
Step 1
Pour the wine, earl grey tea into a medium-sized saucepan. Add the spices and bring to boil.
Step 2
Place the pears into the poaching liquid, cover with a lid and gently simmer for an hour. (Cooking time depends on the pear used).
For the crumble
ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole grain flour
- 5 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Step 1
Mix the ingredients for the crumble and scatter into a small baking tin.
Step 2
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes on 180 degree C or 355 degree F
Step 3
Remove the pears and reduce the poaching liquid. Drizzle over the crumbs when serving.
