Chewy Walnut Biscuits

ingredients

  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Soak the dates in warm water for half an hour then drain off the water. Blend with the oils and walnut to get a rough paste.

  • Step 2

    Mix it with all the remaining ingredients and put to the fridge for an hour.

  • Step 3

    Preheat the oven for 350 F degrees. Roll out the dough between 2 grease paper and cut out the shapes. Bake for 7 minutes.
