ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients, except for the steak in a bowl.

  • Step 2

    Place steak in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade mixture over. Cover with plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  • Step 3

    Turn steak over and refrigerate for another hour.

  • Step 4

    After allowing steak to come to room temperature, grill over hot coals for 3-4 minutes per side.

  • Step 5

    Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes, slice, and serve.
