  • 1 26-ounce package frozen Farm Rich Homestyle Meatballs
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon, optional
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • a few cloves, optional
  • a few sprigs of fresh thyme

Method

  • Step 1

In a large saucepan whisk together apple cider, brown sugar, maple syrup, bourbon (optional) and all the spices.

  • Step 2

Let simmer for 10 minutes over low heat, so the glaze starts to reduce and thicken.

  • Step 6

Serve the meatballs as an appetizer with slices of apples.
