ingredients
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablepoons miso paste
- 3 packages instant ramen noodles
- 4 ounces ground pork
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 2 green onions, cut in strips
Method
Step 1
Make the Miso Broth- Add the chicken broth, water, soy sauce, and salt to a saucepot and bring to the boil. Stir in the miso paste. Stir until the miso paste is melted into the broth. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the instant ramen noodles to the broth. Stir the noodles as they soften in the broth.
Step 2
Cook the Pork and Assemble the Bowls- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sesame oil and then the ground pork. Stir-fry the pork until it's browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Spoon some of the miso broth into serving bowls. Add some of the ramen noodles. Garnish the top of the noodles with the ground pork, bean sprouts, bell pepper, and carrots. Top off with some of the green onion threads.
