ingredients
- 1 cups Molasses
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 To Taste To Taste Nutmeg
- 1 To Taste To Taste Clove
- 1 cups Blueberries
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients, spicing it with nutmeg and clove until you feel there is enough added. Fold in the blueberries and bake at 350 Fahrenheit checking every 20 minutes. I usually stick a toothpick into it and check if it comes out clean. Being that this is a vintage recipe, the cook times are not listed and not all of the ingredients are measured out. When baking vintage, just be sure to keep an extra eye on things! I would rather things be underdone than burnt! You can always cook more, but not less.
