  • 1 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cups Butter
  • 3 tablespoon Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 cups Sifted Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Clove
  • 1 cups Blackberries


  • Step 1

    Bake in a well greased bundt pan until a toothpick comes out clean. I roughly baked for around 50 minutes. With vintage baking, they often didn't utilize baking times. Keep an eye on it and check it every 20 minutes to avoid burn. Frost with a basic powdered sugar frosting when cooled.
