"Note to self: When baking at 6am, use a ruler. Just because my eyeballs are awake, doesn’t mean they were good enough to eyeball cutting out this batch of Kouign Amann using a pizza cutter. I wielded that instrument most cavalierly! And now someone is going to get a gargantuan pastry, while I snack on a couple of the minuscule ones! 😆😆 Instead of cardamom in with the bench sugar, there’s cinnamon. And I stuffed @halvana Coffee Bean Halva inside them! Crispy, sugar crusted outsides, fluffy layers inside!"
