I was inspired by method’s new fragrance pink persimmon, a limited edition scent with its subtle fall inspired notes of cinnamon and star anise, in a beautifully designed bottle by Rebecca Atwood, to create this recipe. The tart shell is made with dark rye flour and spices like cinnamon and star anise. The frangipane filling has the same spice notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise. It is layered in alternate concentric circles of sliced plums and figs. Brushed with plum preserves, and sprinkled with powdered sugar, this tart is a perfect dessert with a dollop of whipped cream and a cuppa coffee!☕️ Absolutely delicious and a must try! ??
