ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups strong flour
  • 1/4 cup fine semolina
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tabelspoons sugar
  • 1 sachet (7gr) dried yeast
  • 1 tabelspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/3 cups lukewarm water
  • some extra fine semolina to roll the dough

Method

  • Step 1

    In a bowl add the water, sugar, yeast, and half of the flour, and mix well to combine. Cover and let it rise until it is doubled in size and you can see bubbles. Like that the yeast will be activated

  • Step 2

    Mix the first mixture with the rest of the ingredients and keep kneading for 10 minutes until everything is combined well and the dough gets elastic. You need to knead it very well and be patient. When ready split in two balls and let them rise until they are doubled in size

  • Step 3

    Preheat the oven to 250 C (482 F) for stone or 200 (392 F) for a baking sheet.

  • Step 4

    Dust some fine semolina in the worktop and roll your pizza dough. You can make it either a thin, medium or deep pan. Add your favorite toppings and you are ready to bake

  • Step 5

    Bake your pizza in a preheated oven for 15 mins by using a stone or 20-30 mins by using a baking sheet.
