"The thing about homemade, baked sweet potato fries is that they're hard to get right. Most of the time they just come out like roasted sweet potatoes in a french fry shape, which is great in its own way, but not what we're looking for. I've been working on a sturdy, crispy, baked sweet potato fry recipe for a while. No corn starch or cornmeal-coating situation either. I'm super close, and honestly thought I'd get there in time to post on the blog today (along with a bomb dipping sauce), but these need the tiniest of tweaks. In the meantime, I'll just keep eating them for lunch."
