How to Prep Make Ahead Smoothies

Mornings are stressful enough - add in trying to get a healthy yet delicious meal before you're getting out the door? Impossible! Not for long with these Make Ahead Smoothies. We used Cascadian Farm Granola for added flavor, nutrients, and texture and wrote about why we love the other ingredients in this smoothie ratio so much.

When you have a few extra minutes, prep the smoothies in glass jars and toss them in the freezer. All that's left do it in the morning is to blend everything up with the liquid of your choice (coconut water, oat milk, whatever you like!) and, congrats! You are now owning your mornings.


Smoothie Ratio

For Blending

  • 1/ 2 cup milk, or liquid of choice (we like almond or coconut milk)


  • Step 1

    Layer your desired ingredients in a 16 ounce freezer safe glass jar. When ready to serve, add milk or liquid of choice to the jar, then shake to loosen all the ingredients. Dump the contents into a high speed blender with a handful of ice and process until smooth.

  • Step 2

    Pour prepared smoothie into the same jar and serve.
