For the Maple Pecan Brie:

Method

  • Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  • Step 2

In a small skillet on low heat, add the Kroger® Pecans. Toast the nuts, stirring often, until fragrant, 6-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and transfer to a medium heatproof bowl.

  • Step 3

To the bowl of pecans, add the Simple Truth Organic™ Maple Syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper. Toss to combine.

  • Step 4

Add the Private Selection™ Parisian Style Double Creme Brie wheel to the pre-lined baking sheet and top with the pecan mixture. Place in the oven and cook until the maple syrup is bubbling and the cheese is soft, 10-15 minutes.

  • Step 5

Using a large spatula, remove the brie from the baking sheet onto a serving platter. Serve with toasted baguette sliced and top with cranberry sauce, if desired. Enjoy!

For the Cranberry Sauce:

  • pinch of ground cardamom
  • pinch of ground cloves
  • pinch of allspice
  • pinch of black pepper

Let cool for about 15 minutes, then check for seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or Simple Truth Organic™ Maple Syrup as needed. Store in an airtight jar for up to three days before serving.
