ingredients
- 1 cups Almond flour
- 1/4 cups Golden monkfruit (or coconut sugar)
- 1/4 teaspoons Xantham gum
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking soda
- 1 teaspoons Coconut flour
- 1/8 teaspoons Salt
- 1/8 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cups Almond milk
- 4 tablespoons Butter or ghee
- 1/4 cups Chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons Cacao powder
- 1 tablespoons Coconut oil
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl mix together all of the wet ingredients. In a separate bowl mix together all of the dry ingredients. Slowly stir the wet into the dry mix until it’s combined. Do not over stir. Spray your silicone donut molds with coconut oil. Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and evenly place into the molds. This should make about 8 depending on the size of your mold. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let them cool before trying to take out of molds. For the chocolate glaze I use my make shift double boiler method. In a bowl combine 1/4 cup @lilys_sweets chips, 2 tbsp. @navitasorganics cacao + 1 tbsp. coconut oil. I also topped these with some hemp seeds and @goodmixfoods and it made them come out so pretty. You could use whatever ya got! Once the donuts are completely cool- dip them in the chocolate glaze and let them ‘set’ in the fridge. I keep them in fridge and take them out 5 minutes before to thaw.
