Chocolate Dipped Almond Butter Cookies

Method

  • Step 1

    For the cookies: in a bowl mix together the flour, almond butter 1 tsp golden sugar and 3 tbsp. syrup. Add in 1 tsp if you need to make it come together more. I used my hands to knead it together after mixing it. Roll into balls. Then flatten into the shape of a cookie. Or leave it as a ball! Up to you. Place on parchment paper while you make chocolate sauce. Boil a pot of water. Turn off heat. Place mixing bowl over the pot. In the bowl mix cacao powder, oil, 1 tsp golden sugar , 1 tbsp. maple syrup and a pinch of salt. The steam from the pot of water will allow the oil to melt and make the sauce come together. Dip each cookie half way in the chocolate mixture and place on parchment paper. Let set in freezer for 10 minutes. Store in fridge or freezer. If freezing, take out 20 minutes before enjoying
