"'Tis the season: I have the sweetest, most flavorful strawberries at the moment, so you know that some are destined to end up in a cocktail. Mezcal was my spirit of choice, and since I love floral flavors with mezcal, I also added some Italicus, plus a little of the super floral and slightly bitter SIlvestre honey from @beeseasonalhoney ... The end result was a floral and slightly smoky celebration of strawberries, and boy howdy was it luscious."

ingredients
- 2 ounces mezcal
- 1/2 ounce Italicus bergamot liqueur
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- Handful strawberries
- Handful fresh mint
- 1/2 ounce honey syrup, made of a 2:1 ratio of honey and water
- 2-3 drops saline
- 1 dash orange bitters
Method
Step 1
Combine all ingredients together. Mix well and pour into a glass over ice.
