The recipe linked here is for one of our favorite Char Siu (BBQ Pork) recipes. To make the Banh Mi here, toast bun of choice, add some of the pork, a fried egg and some quick pickles like cucumbers, radishes and carrots. To make quick pickles, combine equal parts sugar and vinegar and stir until dissolved. Pour over the sliced or julienned vegetables and let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Garnish the sandwich with some cilantro and enjoy!
