For the Apples

ingredients

  • 4 apples, chopped (such as gala, honey crisp, red delicious)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Simply Organic cinnamon

For the Crumble

ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 scoops collagen peptides
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted grass fed butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Other

  • Vanilla ice cream

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350℉. Grease an 8” baking dish with cooking spray or oil.

  • Step 2

    Heat a pan over medium-low heat, and sauce the apples, maple syrup, and cinnamon until softened, about 8-15 minutes. Transfer the cooked apples to an 8-inch baking dish.

  • Step 3

    To make the crumble, combine the oats, whole wheat flour, collagen peptides, walnuts, salt, butter, and maple syrup. Stir together until crumbs form. Crumble this topping over the apples.

  • Step 4

    Bake for 45 minutes. Top with ice cream before serving.
