If you haven’t heard about jicama wraps being all the rage then I am happy to introduce you to them! It is jicama sliced very thinly and can be used as a vessel for a little appetizer or with what I am doing here as a taco shell!

The jicama provides a nice crunch but does not remove any of the flavors you add to your tacos!

ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 Soyrizo sausage
  • 1 package of jicama wraps
  • Salsa
  • Chopped green onions
  • Sliced avocados
  • Chopped Cilantro

Method

  • Step 1

    Add 1 tsp of olive oil into a sauté pan followed by cooking one soyrizo sausage until warmed through.

  • Step 2

    Take out a couple of jicama wraps and place a spoonful of soyrizo into the jicama followed by cheese, avocado slices, cilantro, green onion, and salsa.

  • Step 3

    Chow down and enjoy!
