ingredients
- 4 cups french bread, cut into cubes
- 2 cups granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar⠀
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspooon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Caramel Sauce ⠀
Method
Step 1
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees ⠀
Step 2
Places cubed bread on baking sheet and bake for 5-7 min. Once cooled place into a large bowl.
Step 3
In a saucepan, combine white sugar, brown sugar, milk, butter and apples, cook and stir over medium heat just until butter is melted. Set aside.⠀
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix vanilla, eggs and cinnamon. ⠀
Step 5
Pour the apple mixture and the egg mixture over the toasted bread. Drizzle in caramel sauce. ⠀
Step 6
Mix until bread is thoroughly coated.⠀
Step 7
Place into prepared baking dish. Bake 40-45 minutes. ⠀
