"We're starting happy hour early (perks of working from home) with Concord Grape Pisco Cocktails. Major fall vibes with these, but it's actually over 90 degrees here today (extremely hot for Michigan in late September), so we're sipping on them outside to cool off! We enjoyed a whole lot of Pisco when we traveled to Peru & Chile last summer & it seemed like the perfect match for these gorgeous grapes (see yesterday's post) as it is also made from grapes! I suppose we would call this a "fizz", as we also added club soda, lime juice, some orange bitters, simple syrup & a bit of thyme. "
Concord Grape Pisco Cocktails

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups concord grape juice (we puréed fresh grapes in the blender and then strained through cheesecloth)
1/2 lime squeezed
2 oz simple syrup
5 oz pisco
6 drops orange bitters
4 drops angostura bitters
club soda to top them off
Method:
Shake everything except soda in shaker over ice, pour into glass, top with club soda, garnish with grapes, lime and fresh thyme (optional)
