Breakfast It might not sound French with a name like flammekueche but it’s only because the Alsace region spent many years bouncing back and forth between French and German rule like a rope in a tug-of-war match. Don’t take it out on the flammekueche though which is a delicious, very thin crust, pizza-like dish baked in a wood-burning oven.
