ingredients
- 2 slices bread of choice, toasted
- 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 3 - 4 strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Chopped pistachios, as garnish
- Arugula, as garnish
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- Balsamic glaze/dressing
Method
Step 1
Combine strawberries and honey in a small saucepot over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Spread ricotta onto the bread. Top with cooked strawberries, chopped pistachios, arugula, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
