Immune Boosting Broccoli And Turmeric Soup

Ginger is a powerful healing agent that aids the body in digestion and blood circulation.
This foodie share comes a couple days late from dinner Tuesday. My body was craving something nutrient-dense and veggie-heavy when I returned from Miami. I made this warming detox soup full of immune-boosting ingredients. Lots of anti-inflammatory properties and health-promoting benefits in this dish. Food as nourishment! My food Rx. Recipe

INGREDIENTS
Broccoli, chopped
Ginger, minced
Onion, diced
Mushrooms, chopped
Kale
Nori
Carrots, sliced
Garlic, minced
Vegetable broth
Turmeric, to taste
Cinnamon, to taste
Cumin, to taste


DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients, in a large pot, and cook over medium-high heat until vegetables are tender.
