A quick and delish way to feel like you are in an Israeli cafe. For even more authenticity serve with skinny fries and a spicy chilli sauce.

Hummus Shawarma Plate

Hummus:

1 can of garbanzo beans
1/3 cup Tahini
1 lemon
Drizzled olive oil

Salt
Water

Add all ingredients into food processor and mix until everything is combined and made into a creamy/ thick consistency.

Shawarma:

1 lb. chicken breast cut into shawarma strips
1 1/2 shawarma spice * 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Olive oil
Big pinch of salt
1 onion

Mix the chicken breast with the spices, a small drizzle of olive oil, salt. Let sit in refrigerator for 15 minutes. In the mean time, place olive oil in a pan and sauté onions. Once golden brown add shawarma. Served over Hummus with a side of pita or any bread of your choice.
