ingredients

  • 1/4 cups Plant based butter
  • 1/4 cup Gluten free all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoons Plant based butter
  • 2 Plant based milk
  • 2 cups Veggie broth
  • 5 cloves minced Garlic
  • 1 chopped Yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Carrot
  • 1 chopped Broccoli head
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne
  • 1/4 cups Nutritional yeast
  • 2 cups shredded Vegan cheddar cheese

Method

  • Step 1

    Melt 1tbs. plant based butter, sauté onion & garlic until fragrant. Remove from pan.

  • Step 2

    Melt 1/4 c. plant based butter, & whisk in 1/4 c. gluten free flour until combined well.

  • Step 3

    Slowly mix in 2 c. plant based milk. Add 2 c. veggie broth.

  • Step 4

    Add garlic powder, onion powder, & cayenne. Bring to a boil.

  • Step 5

    Add broccoli, carrots, & return sautéed onion & garlic.

  • Step 6

    Add nutritional yeast, & bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover until veggies have softened. (About 20 minutes)

  • Step 7

    Mix in 2 c. vegan cheddar cheese until melted.
