"Walking into this weekend with open arms and a full belly 😛 so good to be home, even after only two days traveling! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Got to get a workout in this a.m. at tire trained and it was everything I needed 💪🏼 then cooked up this breakfast before taking my girl to the dog park! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Who else loves apple slices with cheddar cheese?! that flavor combo inspired these savory apple & cheddar turkey breakfast patties and they’re soooo yummy!!! i’m gonna put the recipe below cuz i think you guys will love this one and it would be a great thing to meal prep for the weekend!"

ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cubed very small red apple
  • 1/2 cup cubed very small cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • Avocado oil, as needed

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat a pan with avocado oil over medium heat.

  • Step 2

    Mix all the ingredients together well, then form them into 10 patties. Place them in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until fully cooked through.
