ingredients

  • 1 28-ounce can Muir Glen Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons red wine, plus more as needed
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated
  • 4 habanero peppers, stems removed, minced, seeds optional

Method

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, breaking up the chunks of tomatoes with the back of a wooden spoon. Cook until the mixture is reduced and thickened, approximately 15 minutes. Allow to cool before transferring to an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
