Random, I know. ⠀ ⠀ I used Elk Rider Bourbon Whiskey from @heritagedistilling, and instead of the traditional angostura bitters, this version uses orange bitters. The sweet vermouth is partially subbed out for ancho chile simple syrup, which gives the drink a spicy kick.⠀ ⠀ It's a cocktail that will warm you from the inside out - perfect to enjoy on winter evenings, by the fire, with a good book in hand.
