  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Chili powder, to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook the Success Rice Boil-in-Bag Brown Rice according to the instructions on the packaging.

  • Step 2

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and a pinch of salt, sautéing them for about 3 minutes until they start to brown.

    Add the diced shallot, chopped garlic, and unsalted butter to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 1 minute until the shallots are translucent and fragrant.

    Season the mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder, adjusting the amounts to your taste preferences. Continue sautéing for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

    Turn off the heat and set the skillet aside.

    Once the brown rice is fully cooked, combine it with the sautéed mushroom mixture in the skillet.
