Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash

ingredients
- 2 halved Acorn Squash
- 1 tablespoon (12 grams) Unsalted Butter
- 2 peeled and diced Apples
- 1/4 teaspoon Rubarama Jack's Blend
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Step 2
Slice each acorn squash in half, remove seeds and strings with spoon. Cut tablespoon of butter into 4 pieces, place one in each halved squash.
Step 3
Mix Jack's Blend and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Add in apples and mix until covered with Rubarama and brown sugar mixture. Put equal amounts of the apples in each acorn squash.
Step 4
Set squash halves in baking pan, fill with 1/2" water. Sprinkle the apples with a bit more brown sugar. Cook for 40-50 minutes, until apples are just starting brown.
Step 5
Remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
