ingredients

  • 1 package of Chicken Wings
  • 2 tablepoons Adobo
  • 1 tablespoon Sazon y chiote
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Lemon

Method

  • Step 1

This recipe is for 8 pieces of wings. If you're making more than that, double the recipe ingredients. Remove chicken wings from the package, rinse under cold water then pat dry. Line the chicken in a baking dish. Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the wings and rub into the meat. Season with the dry ingredients listed above. Brush the chicken wings with the canola oil. This will ensure the chicken is crispy but without all of the fat and calories. Let the chicken sit for at least 30 minutes before cooking, this way they can soak up the seasonings.

  • Step 2

Pre-heat your air fryer to 400 degrees. Every air fryer is different, if you've found that is too high and tends to burn your food, then pre-heat to 380 degrees. Do Not over crowd the air fryer, cook 4 wings at a time unless your air fryer is large and can handle al 8 wings at once with room to separate. Once the wings are added to the air fryer, set the timer for 17 minutes, be sure to check on the chicken at the half way mark of cooking.

  • Step 3

When the chicken wings are done, you can have them with your favorite sides or just dip them into your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
