Peach Caprese on Salt Block

"You can’t go wrong with this salt block peach Caprese recipe. It’s a slight variation on a classic Caprese, alternating tomato and peach slices with fresh mozzarella and basil. This simple vegetarian side or starter is easy to make and full of flavor. It is beautiful served on a salt block, but you can also simply serve on a platter."

  • 35 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 1 heirloom tomato
  • 1 peach
  • 10 basil leaves
  • olive oil
  • balsamic glaze


  • Step 1

    Gather and prepare all ingredients. Arrange tomatoes, peaches and mozzarella slices on salt block, alternating cheese between each tomato or peach slice.

  • Step 2

    Arrange basil leaves and drizzle with good quality olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, but keep in mind that the salt block also adds salt flavor, so use the extra salt sparingly. Serve at room temperature.

  • Step 3

    If you don't have a salt block, simply arrange the ingredients on a plate or platter. You can also easily double this recipe to serve 4.
