- vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cups cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup fermented black bean sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablepoons brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red chili, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon sriracha, to taste
