ingredients
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon minced oregano
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Method
Step 1
Soak bread crumbs in milk in a small bowl and set aside for at least 10 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the beef, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, egg, salt and pepper. Add soaked bread crumbs, together. Using your hands, shape them into balls.
Step 3
Heat butter in a large cast-iron pan over medium high heat. Cook meatballs until browned all over, about 15 minutes. Add marinara or meat sauce.
