ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup maple caramel almond butter (or regular almond butter)
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup rolled oat
  • 2 scoops probiotic cacao protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (gives it a caramel taste and has great health benefits)
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup water, plus more if needed
  • 3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Method

  • Step 1

    Add all ingredients to a food processor. Process until everything is combined and a dough forms. You want the dough to stick together when you squeeze it in between your fingers.

  • Step 2

    If it is too crumbly, add more water, 1 Tbsp at a time. Pulse in the chocolate chips. Taste and add more salt or maple syrup if needed. Roll into balls (I got about 14 balls). Store in the fridge or freezer. Enjoy!
