Recipe Card

For the Filling:


  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/3 cup fresh strawberry puree
  • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon agr agar powder
  • 12 dates, pitted

For the Crust:


  • 1 1/4 cups gluten free rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil


  • Step 1

    Grease a 8-inch tart tin. Set aside. In a food processor combine crust ingredients, pulse until mixture looks like wet sand. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the prepared tart tin. Place in the freezer to set while you work with your filling.

  • Step 2

In a saucepan, combine the orange juice, maple syrup, strawberry purée. Cook on a medium-high heat, with constant stirring, until thickened.
Add coconut cream, agar-agar and mix until completely dissolved. Pour mixture into the tart and place in the fridge at least 4 hrs to set.

  • Step 3

    Once firm, garnish with fresh strawberries and serve.
