Rum Mai Tai with Whole Milk

"Gave clarified drinks another go. Using whole milk this time made the process so much faster, and the final product noticeably clearer. The clarification process also made the flavors of this Mai Tai seem rounder, smoothing out even the slightest hints of alcohol edge."

  • 1 ounce Jamaican rum
  • 1 ounce Blanc rum
  • 1/2 ounce twelve year old rum
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce orgeat
  • 1/2 ounce amer liqueur
  • 1 ounce whole milk


  • Step 1

    Pour all ingredients into a shaker and shake well. Pour into a glass over ice cubes.
