Recipe Intro From nibblesnfeasts
This Creamy Strawberry Agua Fresca is a nod to the warmer weather ahead, offering a rich and refreshing drink perfect for sunny days. Made with fresh strawberries, milk, and a hint of vanilla, this creamy beverage is sure to become a favorite.
Recipe Description
This Creamy Strawberry Agua Fresca differs from traditional agua fresca in its creamy texture and rich flavor profile. Traditional agua fresca is a refreshing drink made by blending fruit with water and sweetening it with sugar. It's typically served over ice and is light and fruity.
In contrast, this creamy version adds dairy products, including sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and regular milk, to the fruit mixture. This addition creates a creamy, indulgent texture and adds richness to the drink. The sweetened condensed milk adds sweetness and a silky texture, while the evaporated milk adds creaminess. These ingredients transform the traditional agua fresca into a more decadent and satisfying beverage, reminiscent of a milkshake or smoothie.
