ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons beetroot powder
  • 1 tablespoon warm water

  • 3 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • 1 1/4 unsweetened plant based milk

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small saucepan, add beet powder along with warm water, maple syrup, and rose water. 


  • Step 2

    Whisk to combine and dissolve the beet mixture. Add in 1/2 cup of plant-based milk in the saucepan.

  • Step 3

    Warm the beet milk over the medium heat stirring it often until it’s hot. 
Pour the hot beetroot milk into a tall mug and set it aside while frothing milk.
 Froth the other 1/2 cup of milk in a milk frother or a coffee mug, using a hand milk frother.

  • Step 4

    Gently top the coffee mug with the frothed milk. Add some cocoa nibs and dry rose petals.
